Clergyman Apostle Emmanuel Akose has advised single people not to be with someone who loves them as love is a scam.
According to him, what is more important in a union is understanding and not love.
In a video shared online, he said; ‘Don’t be with someone that loves you. Love is a scam. Be with someone that respects you, that understands you.
‘Our generation has been confused. Love is not understanding. Love is a feeling. Understanding is a decision.’
He said the most important thing need to make a relationship to work is not love.
In 2022, Emmanuel Akose popularly known as Soul E advised ladies to stop turning down men that are married because they might be their destiny husbands.
He advised that when a lady meets a man that has been married before and he makes her happy, she should follow him and enjoy her life.
In his words back then, ‘If there is anything I understand about God, is that God works in mysterious ways. A lot of women are single today because God has actually sent their husbands but he was a married man.’
