During a promotional event for her brand Fenty, world-renowned Barbadian singer Rihanna took on the challenge of learning Yoruba from a Nigerian fan.
The fan took the opportunity to teach Rihanna the Yoruba phrase “mo wa pa,” which means “I am fine.”
Rihanna initially struggled with the pronunciation and accent but eventually managed to say it correctly, earning a high five from the fan.
As they posed for photos together, Rihanna repeatedly practiced saying “mo wa pa.”
