Social media reports alleged that the Big Brother Naija star had welcomed a child with a much older, married governor.
The rumors have been circulating since last year, but Nengi addressed them on X.
“As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread falsehoods without limits. So, let me be clear—I am not pregnant for any governor,” she wrote.
She added that she felt compelled to speak out because the rumors not only affected her but also involved people she deeply respects.
“I won’t allow a beautiful and personal part of my life to be turned into something ugly,” she continued.
“While I continue to mind my business and enjoy my pregnancy in peace, I wish you all love and a happy Valentine’s weekend.”
