At just 10 years old, Princess Charlotte is already displaying signs of becoming a royal style icon, much like her mother, Princess Kate.
The middle child of the Prince and Princess of Wales has already developed a keen fashion sense, particularly when it comes to jewellery, which seems to have been inherited from her mother.
Maxwell Stone, a diamond expert at UK retailer Steven Stone, has analyzed several of Charlotte’s pieces, estimating their value and highlighting their deep connections to royal heritage and tradition.
He explains, “Though still young, Princess Charlotte is beginning to carve out her own signature style through her jewellery choices, combining personal touches, sentimental heirlooms, and youthful elegance.”
Charlotte’s Bespoke Tiara
For her grandfather King Charles III’s coronation, Princess Charlotte wore a bespoke tiara from Alexander McQueen, the same designer who created her mother’s iconic wedding dress in 2011.
Now valued at approximately £80,000, this headpiece is Charlotte’s “most valuable piece of jewellery to date,” according to Stone.
The tiara, designed in collaboration with milliner Jess Collett, featured a silver button and crystal detailing. It marked Charlotte’s growing royal presence while also representing a modern take on traditional tiaras.
Her Brooch: A Tribute to Her Great Aunt
At Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral in September 2022, Princess Charlotte wore a diamond horseshoe brooch valued at around £10,000.
The brooch, which recalls the royal family’s love for horses, was a thoughtful tribute to her great-grandmother, who had a lifelong passion for equestrian life—a love shared by her great-aunt, Princess Anne, and her daughter, Zara Tindall.
This family heirloom was originally owned by the Queen Mother and passed down to Princess Charlotte by Queen Elizabeth II herself, further embedding her in the royal tradition from a young age.
