Popular social activist Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman (VDM), has responded to the money laundering allegations that led to his arrest by the EFCC.
In a viral video recorded by his lawyer following his release, VDM expressed disbelief at the charges, questioning why someone without wealth would be accused of financial crimes.
“How can they accuse someone who doesn’t have money of money laundering? I’ve done so much charity work, and people wonder how I manage—it’s because I use debt to fund my charity. But anyway, we’re out now, with my lawyer by my side,” he said.
