The Beckham family has been torn apart after a scathing statement from Brooklyn in an explosive Instagram post on Monday evening.
David and Victoria are now caught in more drama after Brooklyn Beckham issued a scathing statement aimed at his parents, who he claimed tried to ruin his relationship with Nicola Peltz and upstaged their wedding.
In the statement posted on social media, Brooklyn said: ‘I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
‘I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.’
The chef also claimed that his ‘wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one’ and also said he was not allowed to meet up with his family for his dad’s 50th birthday unless it was done in public or Nicola did not attend. ‘It was a slap in the face,’ Brooklyn added.

Rebecca Loos has added her voice to the feud between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents.

Rebecca said: ‘So happy he is standing up for himself and speaking publicly finally!!!! I have felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like!’ She then added that ‘the truth will always come out’.

Former United star and Beckham’s ex-teammate O’Kane has now picked a side in the feud and claimed that the revelations are not a total surprise to him.
He wrote on X: ‘I lived with Beckham for few years.. Let’s just say he likes to be in TOTAL CONTROL and was OBSESSIVE on PERFECTION.
‘If it took Brooklyn to say this and burn down the so-called perfect family. Brand Beckham should not come before your kids no matter what has happened!!’

Rhodri was in full support of Brooklyn’s comments. Posting on Twitter/X, Rhodri said: ‘Can totally relate. Good on you Brooklyn. Do it their way or be ostracised.’ He added a number of clapping hands emojis.

Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid gave a succinct response, labelling the entire situation as ‘so painful’. She added ‘It’s so hurtful. Obviously, both sides are in an enormous amount of pain.’
She added ‘It’s utterly tragic. The accusations are so damning, it’s hard to see them coming back from them and repairing the rift.’

Kate Garraway also waded into the public feud: ‘It’s the family life that breaks my heart. It’s horrible. The little moments like learning to walk, giving them a cuddle, putting them to bed. It feels so sad.’
