IRAN WAR: Dubai and Abu Dhabi airport chaos as flights axed after blasts

Flights to and from two major international airports, Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and Dubai International Airport have been cancelled and delayed following further Iranian drone attacks overnight.

Iran has also issued a stark warning to US President saying US troops will be ‘set on fire’ if they enter the country.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made the statement after the Pentagon said it was bracing for a potential ground operation in Iran.

Thousands of US soldiers and Marines have been deployed to the Middle East in a dramatic military escalation aimed at delivering a ‘final blow’ to the regime.

Donald Trump has also floated the idea of taking Iran’s oil.

‘To be honest with you, my favourite thing is to take the oil in Iran but some stupid people back in the US say: ‘’why are you doing that?’’ But they’re stupid people,’ he said in an interview with the Financial Times.

The move would involve seizing Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil export hub.
