Lee Andrews faces a RETURN to prison in 14 days if he fails to pay his debts

Lee Andrews reportedly faces being hauled back to prison in 14 days if he fails to pay his outstanding debts, after new documents revealed the extent of his money troubles.

The self-acclaimed billionaire has been MIA for weeks after he was thrown behind bars in Al Awir Central Prison in Dubai on fraud allegations, but has insisted he was actually jailed for espionage.

Lee was released from prison last week, and along with reuniting with his wife Katie, shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday sporting an AI-generated head of hair.

Now, it’s been claimed that despite his release, the 43-year-old has been told by a Dubai court he must pay his outstanding debts within 14 days, or he will be thrown back behind bars.

Documents have also shown that the debts which instigated a warrant for Lee’s arrest included £54,000 pertaining to the hiring of a rental car, and £15,000 to a United Arab Emirates legal firm.

While it’s thought that Lee was not ‘actively wanted’ by police officials at this stage, he must pay his debts within two weeks.

Lee’s representative declared: ‘The judgement debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt,’ according to The Sun.

‘He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount.’

An insider added: ‘Lee managed to talk himself out of jail, and said he would be able to raise the capital himself.

‘He says Katie has been his rock, and helped him liaise with officials when he was banged-up – but that he hasn’t asked her to pay off any of his debts. He insists he can do that himself.’
