Popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Aigbe,
on Wednesday noted that her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry and her new lover,
Kazim Adeoti, also known as Adekaz were never friends.
Aigbe disclosed this in a message
forwarded to ladies of TVC talk show, Your View, where they discussed her new
relationship.
The topic of the talk show was,
‘Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe marries ex-husband’s friend’. Aigbe towards the
end of the show reached out to the main show host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown on the
phone to react to the topic.
Afolabi-Brown thereafter disclosed that
the actress was trying to call them on the show but couldn’t reach them, hence
the need to send a text.
The host read the message of the actress which states: “I just want to clear the impression,
Adekaz isn’t Lanre Gentry’s friend.”
The actress has been in the news since
Sunday when she unveiled the movie marketer as her new lover. Aigbe on Monday
took to her Instagram account to shower praises on her new lover on his
birthday.
The actress separated from her
estranged husband in 2017 after she alleged that she suffered domestic violence
in her marriage.
