To truly know your partner, the emotional part of you should not becloud your logical sense. Meanwhile, run your emotional intelligence with your mental intelligence. Take note of your strange feelings and know what you feel. Don’t stop yourself from suspecting every strange feeling, illuminate amber light on them to come out with good decisions. If you think the emotional part of you is likely to prevail over your logical sense, then ask your partner for a little space and time, to think things through. You don’t necessarily have to spend eternity before informing them your decision or concern as the case may be.
This is one moment that deserves all your intent and attention. Please know him to certain levels required at least. Illuminate your amber light when you are not sure about your partner.
2. Watch Out for Some Drops
These little drops come in statements and actions. Never take what they say when they are angry lightly, don’t defend them by saying “they do or say it because they are angry” or “they say or do it and can’t help it because they are in a bad phase.” Well! If this is you, you need to take some moments off tell yourself some naked truth.
Your partner says “I will hit your head (with bottle) or against the wall” and all you could say thereafter is that they only said that because they are drunk then. Hmm!
There are some moments of tension in dating relationship that inform us if the coast is really clear, but we mostly don’t take note, and if we do, we take it lightly. Sometimes, there will be disagreements, but it is only healthy when you disagree to agree. If your partner should say “I will slap you” because the heat is turned on while arguing, then you should know you can’t avoid being domesticated with violence eventually. Watch out for little drops of water that eventually become ocean.

3. Work on your communication
One area where you should not let down your guard for once is area of communication. Constant improvement on your communication will help you to assess, learn about your relationship and partner faster. Learn how to communicate your thoughts and feelings in the most mature way. Be wary when your partner keep things away from you (it is not a good sign if they don’t tell you things). Take a bold pause and reconsider some factors. Are you really friends or just a lover to one another? When your partner always hesitate to tell you things, switch on your amber light and slow your speed at least.
Perhaps they don’t feel free and secure to share their thoughts with you because they think less of you.
4. How Is Their Efforts On You?
Does your partner really care about you? How do they come around you when you want or need them around? Do they disappoint you more than they have gladden your heart? Do they always look for excuses to give when they fall short of expectations? How many times have you seen them make sacrifices for you? Deep down inside you, can you really trust or rely on them or you are still hoping you could rely on them?
If you think you are not getting what you deserve in the relationship, take some moment and illuminate the amber light. It will be wrong for you to suffer in silence. You can still retrace your steps now that you can.
