Holistic nutritionist reveals the simple yet ‘life-changing wellness hack’ that has improved her focus AND helped with her anxiety

A holistic nutritionist has revealed the ‘ultimate wellness hack’ that changed her life for the better — and the best part is that it’s free.

Rebecca Leigh, 25, from Los Angeles, California, is the founder of the self-improvement platform Within You. She has nearly 190,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares health and wellness advice.

The content creator, who uses the handle @rebeccaaleigh, dedicated a video to the one thing she does that has changed her mornings for the better.

‘[There is] one simple tip that I can give you guys that has helped me significantly with my anxiety, my focus, [and] my days — because I start my days off on a different foot,’ she said. ‘It’s free, and you can literally start it tomorrow morning.’

Hack for wellbeing

Rebecca explained that after she sets her alarm for the next day and is ready to go to sleep at night, she puts her smartphone on airplane mode.

‘When you wake up in the morning, don’t turn your phone off airplane mode for at least the first 30 minutes of your day,’ she advised.

‘Since it’s on airplane mode, you won’t be tempted to check your notifications.’

The wellness guru noted in the on-screen text that she likes to use this time to meditate, go outside, and journal before starting her day.

‘I am not kidding you guys. You will have a significantly different day than if you start looking at your phone first thing in the morning,’ she insisted.

‘It has changed my life.’

Rebecca admitted in the caption that she doesn’t always follow her own advice, and she notices a difference when she checks her phone first thing in the morning.

‘The ultimate wellness hack… I didn’t do it today and I can feel how much worse I feel today because of it,’ she wrote in the caption.

The influencer’s video has been viewed more than 130,000 times and has received dozens of comments.
