Duchess Sophie Impresses In Prada Attire – And You Won't Believe Her Striking New Handbag

On Tuesday, Duchess Sophie of Edinburgh accompanied her husband, Prince Edward, to Oakham, where they visited a statue honoring the late Queen Elizabeth.

It was a poignant moment for the couple, made even more special by the fact that they were the first royals to see the statue since its unveiling.

Sophie, who is the mother of Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex, looked resplendent for the occasion, donning an impeccable ensemble.

Embracing floral elegance, she wore a stunning silk shirt by Gabriela Hearst paired with chic black cropped trousers and white loafers by Nicola Sexton. Completing her look was her favored white Prada coat.

But have you noticed her handbag? Sophie proudly displayed her new arm candy from her trusted bag designer, Sophie Habsburg.

It was quite a daring piece: orange with a striking strap embellished with jewels. Known as the ‘Lola’, it truly made a statement and might just be one of the most daring bags the royal has ever carried.

After all, at 59, she typically favors classic tailoring and neutral tones, so it was refreshing to see this vibrant pop of color.

Speaking of color, the duchess has been exploring new styles lately, incorporating some bold pieces into her wardrobe.

Earlier this month, at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Home Park, Windsor Castle, she opted for a casual yet elegant ensemble featuring a ME+EM blazer, a black leather skirt, a fabulous cross-body bag, and boots.

But the best surprise came when she turned around – she had tied a beautiful Hermès twilly scarf around her hair to create a charming bow.

The scarf boasted a delightful array of colors, adding a lovely touch. Sophie isn’t known for wearing hair accessories, especially in vibrant hues, so it was a delightful departure from her usual style.
