Hilaria Baldwin had a tense moment with her husband, Alec Baldwin, during a red carpet interview at the Planet Hollywood Times Square opening party in New York City, which they co-hosted.
While speaking with Extra about their TLC series The Baldwins, Hilaria, 41, became frustrated when Alec, 66, interrupted her mid-response.
When asked about the possibility of a second season, Alec jokingly referred to it as “The Hilaria Show”, while Hilaria explained that they were still gauging audience reactions before making a decision.
As Alec chimed in, telling her, “It’s gonna be great. You’re a winner,” while she was still speaking, Hilaria cut him off.
“Oh my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking,” she snapped. “No. When I’m talking, you’re not talking.”
Alec quickly apologized, and Hilaria turned to the camera with a laugh, joking, “This is why we’ll have to just cut him out of the show.”
She then continued the interview alone as Alec momentarily walked away, speaking with someone off-camera.
He eventually returned and stood beside Hilaria as the interviewer asked whether acting or being himself on reality TV was more challenging.
“Being yourself. It’s so hard,” Alec admitted. “You don’t want it to be dull. If you show our life as it really is, after an hour, you get the same thing over and over. Not just us, but with the kids too. We like routine—it’s good for them.”
