Actress Maria Bello has officially filed for divorce from renowned chef Dominique Crenn, bringing their one-year marriage to an end.

According to court documents filed on Wednesday, May 28 and obtained by TMZ, Bello listed April 7, 2025—exactly one year after their wedding date—as the official date of separation. The reason for the split was cited as “irreconcilable differences.”

The couple, who share no minor children, appear to be navigating a relatively amicable legal separation. Bello noted that spousal support terms will be handled through a written agreement, and she has requested that both parties equally share the cost of mediation. It remains unconfirmed whether a prenuptial agreement was in place.

Bello and Crenn first went public with their relationship at the Academy Awards in February 2020. Their engagement was announced a few months earlier during a romantic trip to Paris in December 2019.

Dominique Crenn is a trailblazer in the culinary world, celebrated as the first—and only—female chef in the United States to earn three Michelin stars for her San Francisco restaurant, Atelier Crenn. Beyond her kitchen success, Crenn has made numerous television appearances, including on the Food Network, and served as a consultant on the 2022 film The Menu, starring Ralph Fiennes.
