A fire broke out early this morning at a £2 million property in northwest London linked to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, prompting a significant emergency response and a full street cordon.

According to Mail Online, fire crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after 1:11 a.m., with the London Fire Brigade confirming the blaze at the front of the property was brought under control by 1:33 a.m. The home is reportedly a rental property associated with the Prime Minister.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they were alerted at 1:35 a.m. and that officers attended the scene. “Damage was caused to the property’s entrance, but no injuries were reported,” a police spokesperson said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and cordons remain in place as inquiries continue.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson added: “The Brigade was called at 01:11 and the fire was under control by 01:33. Two fire engines from Kentish Town Fire Station responded.”

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact police via 101, quoting CAD 441/12 May.

The fire incident coincides with Prime Minister Starmer’s announcement of a new government strategy to tighten migration laws. Speaking at a press conference today, he warned that Britain risks becoming an “island of strangers” and unveiled several measures aimed at curbing illegal immigration.
