Rapper The Game has been ordered to sell his California mansion to help satisfy a $7.13 million judgment awarded to Priscilla Rainey, who accused him of s*xual assault.
According to court documents, a judge approved the sale of The Game’s Calabasas home, ruling that if the sale is likely to generate enough funds to cover the homestead exemption, outstanding liens, and at least part of the judgment, the court is required to authorize it.
Rainey filed the lawsuit in 2015, alleging that The Game s*xually assaulted her while filming the VH1 reality show She Got Game. The case ended in her favor in 2018 after The Game repeatedly failed to appear in court.
In October 2023, the rapper was summoned to explain why his mansion should not be sold to cover the judgment. The court also issued a writ of execution and levy in July, accusing him of attempting to shield the property by transferring its deed to his manager, Wack 100.
The property is currently listed for $4 million, meaning The Game would still owe Rainey over $3 million if it sells at asking price. Despite the court’s ruling, The Game has publicly stated he has no intention of paying Rainey.
In 2020, he dismissed the judgment in a social media post, referring to Rainey as a “Waffle House roach” and mocking the situation while watching Tiger King during the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Rainey continued to pursue legal avenues and was later granted ownership of The Game’s Prolific Records label, along with royalties from his album Born to Rap.
