In a new episode of Sharing with Seyi, singer and actress Seyi Shay spilled some tea about her acting debut in the 2018 Nollywood film Lara and the Beat.
You remember those steamy scenes between her and Vector the Viper that had everyone talking? Well, the chemistry was more than just acting.
“Vector and I… we were actually an item,” she revealed.
Before the fame and the spotlight, they had a relationship. So when they reunited on-screen years later, slipping into their roles felt completely natural.
Here’s the twist—Vector’s wife was on set during those scenes, even when the two were sharing kisses. But according to Seyi, she was all in: “She was like, ‘Oh yeah, no, do the kiss!’” Seyi laughed, adding that Vector would shoot her some side-eyes mid-scene.
Despite the awkward moments, Seyi says it was all about professionalism and mutual respect. “He and I have remained great friends regardless.”
