Princess Kate will not be undertaking any public engagements this week, according to a new report—marking a continued careful approach as she recovers from cancer treatment.
Kate, 43, was notably absent from Royal Ascot last Wednesday, with sources indicating that she is still working to maintain a manageable balance following her recent health challenges.
After completing chemotherapy last autumn, the Princess has been making a gradual return to public life, with appearances at Trooping the Colour and Garter Day being her most recent official outings.
According to The Daily Mail’s Royal Editor, Rebecca English, Kate will not carry out any royal duties this week but is “very likely” to attend Wimbledon, which begins on Monday, 30 June—an event she traditionally supports as Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Looking ahead, the Princess is also expected to take part in the French State Visit at Windsor Castle from 8 to 10 July. While her involvement is anticipated, it remains uncertain whether she will attend the formal state banquet during the visit.
Kate previously welcomed Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim al-Thani during their state visit in December 2023 but did not attend the accompanying banquet at Buckingham Palace.
As the mother-of-three continues her recovery, her public appearances remain selective—balancing royal duties with personal well-being.
