Kim Kardashian has addressed a viral decade-old claim on Instagram in 2014 that she ‘forgot’ her then 15-month-old daughter North while leaving a hotel in Paris.
The SKIMs founder faced backlashes from her 35 million followers as they lashed at her parenting skills as she departed her hotel in the French capital without her daughter… North is now 12.
In the clip, Kim strutted to her waiting SUV empty-handed before making a U-turn back into the building.
A few moments later the Kardashians star re-emerged with North while making her way through flashing cameras back to the waiting vehicle, which was due to whisk them to the airport.
Re-sharing the viral clip, a fan wrote ‘my favourite Kardashian moment is when Kim forgot North in a hotel room’.

Kim then took to her social media on Saturday to explain herself as she stated, ‘I didn’t forget her!’
She said: ‘I wanted to show the look off before holding her bc her outfit didn’t match mine!! I didn’t forget her!!!’
This is the second time the mother-of-four would explain herself concerning the saga.
In 2014 as she hit back at the time, explaining herself on X (formerly Twitter) that she first emerged without North because she was tending to an issue with her daughter’s car seat.
‘Heard on the radio today some story I forgot my daughter at our hotel as I’m leaving for the airport. Are you kidding me?!?!?! LOL,’ she wrote at that time.
‘I went to the car to make sure the car seat was in because the day before we had a car seat issue.
‘Do u guys really think a 1year old would be inside the lobby by herself!Oh wait she was waiting to check out lol.’
Kim shares son Saint, nine, daughter Chicago, seven, and son Psalm, six, and North with ex husband Kanye West.
