Kim Kardashian OPENS UP on deleting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Instagram photos

Kim Kardashian has finally explained the truth behind deleted photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle vanished from her Instagram following mom Kris Jenner’s milestone 70th birthday celebration.

In November 2025, fans questioned why photos of the Sussexes inside the star-studded LA event had disappeared off social media – after the former working Royals were happily photographed earlier in the evening on their way into the James Bond-themed soiree.

While appearing on sister Khloe Kardashian’s podcast Khloe In Wonder Land this week, the Skims founder spoke candidly about the so-called ‘Photogate’ for the first time, stressing that the decision was made out of respect, not controversy.

‘It was really innocent, which is so crazy,’ Kim explained. ‘Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now, and they have a really sweet relationship.’

Kim went on to claim that the Sussexes had initially given the green light for the images, which were taken during Jenner’s star-studded birthday bash, to be shared publicly.

‘We were told that it was totally cool to post,’ she claimed. ‘And then after it was posted, I think they realized it was Remembrance Day, and they didn’t want to be seen at a party, even though it’s already up, you know, and then taken down. And then I think they realized, like, “Oh, this was so silly.”‘

She continued that while Prince Harry and Meghan were photographed attending the Baby2Baby charity gala the same evening, there was a distinction to be made.

‘That was fine, but maybe not partying and dancing on the dance floor or whatever,’ Kim noted. ‘So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day.’

Remembrance Day, observed annually in November, honors members of the armed forces who lost their lives in service.

Prince Harry was notably seen wearing a poppy badge – an emblem of Remembrance Day – on his way into Jenner’s party at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s mansion.
