Donald Trump REVEALS the country he’ll hit ‘next’ after Iran

Donald Trump has revealed which country is next on his list of military targets after the invasion of Iran – and signs are emerging that another costly conflict is on the way very soon.

The US president revealed ‘Cuba is next’ during an appearance at a summit in Miami on Saturday, having long singled out the communist Caribbean nation as an ‘enemy’ of the United States.

Cuba, which is currently grappling with a severe food and energy crisis in part triggered by US sanctions imposed earlier this year, has said it is prepared for any potential invasion.

Trump’s latest comments on Cuba mark only his latest broadside against the nation, which he has described as being ruled by ‘sinister forces of communism and evil’.

During his first term, Trump overturned an Obama-era deal to normalise relations between Washington and Havana.

In January, he hit the country with a raft of tough new tariffs on imports from any country that directly or indirectly provides oil to Cuba.

The result has been devastating for the island’s already fragile economy, leading to widespread blackouts and rationing.

It’s added to speculation that an attempt at regime change could soon become official US policy.

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office last week, Trump said: ‘I do believe I’ll be having the honour of taking Cuba. That’s a big honour. Taking Cuba in some form.’

Meanwhile, further evidence appeared over the weekend that the US could be committing to a ground invasion in Iran, with thousands of troops moved to the Gulf region in recent days.
