King Charles has extended an olive branch to his son, Prince Harry, as he offers him a room to stay at Buckingham Palace when he returns to the UK in coming weeks.
Prince Harry will be travelling from the US for a number of WellChild Awards engagements in September.
The 41-year-old prince did not stay at Buckingham Palace during his last visit to the UK earlier this month.
The Duke was told he could not take up a stay at the residence at least 36 hours before his own team announced to the world that he would be.

But now it is understood that he has accepted a fresh offer to stay at the Palace well in advance, per The Sun.
Harry will visit Britain for events around the annual WellChild Awards in September.
It is not known if his wife Meghan, along with Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, will join him on his visit.
The Duke returned to the UK for five days of engagements in London and Birmingham earlier this month.
Royal officials had informed him that the stay in Buckingham Palace could not go ahead because the necessary staffing and hospitality arrangements were no longer in place, making it logistically impossible.
