Brooklyn Beckham ‘leaves the whole of Ireland weeping’ as he sparks Guinness fury with ‘rage bait’ snap of pint

2

Brooklyn Beckham faces online backlashes after stirring the feelings of Irish Guinness lovers by posting an Instagram Story of a frosted, unbranded glass filled with an unsettled pint of the famous stout.

The estranged son of David and Victoria Beckham has been accused of ‘rage-baiting’ Guinness drinkers and ‘leaving the whole of Ireland weeping’ after he shared a photo of a ‘badly poured’ pint in an incorrect glass.

The art of pouring a Guinness is taken seriously among drinkers, with a specific two-part pouring method and experts recommending it goes into a room-temperature, dry, imperial pint glass.

Sharing the snap to his Instagram story, Brooklyn tagged the official Guinness Instagram account alongside a harp emoji.

But eagle-eyed Guinness lovers were quick to point out that something appeared to be very wrong with his pint.

The comments on the budding chef’s story were soon flooded with outrage from his followers, some of whom believed he was intentionally ‘rage-baiting’.

Brooklyn’s followers wrote: ‘Whoever pulled that so called pint should be sacked… Rage bait for Guinness drinkers… The whole of Ireland wept…

‘Waiting for the entire Irish community to comment… Looks like it hasn’t been poured properly or something is wrong with it’.

Others defended the star, claiming the drink was ‘still rising’ as is the process of pouring a Guinness, which includes a 90-second waiting time to allow the top to rise and let the pint turn ruby-black.
