Brooklyn Beckham declared he is ‘obsessed’ with his ‘perfect’ wife Nicola Peltz as he hit back at trolls on Instagram.
The couple celebrated seven years together on Thursday by sharing matching gushing posts.
However, hours later Brooklyn appeared concerned by comments from his followers as he shared a photo of a glamorous Nicola looking shocked and accompanied it with the caption: ‘Yeah I am obsessed with my wife. Bring on the comments, I don’t care. She’s perfect xx.’
He added the fingers up emoji to further drum home his point.
The post follows a pattern of Brooklyn publicly defending Nicola against online negativity and body-shaming comments, as well as addressing ongoing public speculation regarding his family.
Brooklyn had earlier posted a sweet public message for Nicola with a recent snap of himself kissing his wife on the cheek as she clutched a red £5,390 Chanel handbag, as well as a photo of two bouquets of flowers and a handwritten love letter.
He wrote: ‘My beautiful Nicola, you mean absolutely everything to me.’
‘You’re my whole world, my best friend, and the most important person in my life. I’m so lucky I get to love you and spend forever by your side. I love you more than words can ever explain.’
But the post sparked some people to say they felt it was ‘over performative’.
