Paris Jackson and her fiancé Justin Long have split and ended their engagement.
The split comes just over a week after the 27-year-old daughter was seen crying in public.
The daughter of the late Michael Jackson announced the two had broken off their engagement on Thursday in a post on X, in which she said the concerning tears seen on July 23 were ‘breakup tears.’
As of December 6, 2024, Jackson was jubilant when she announced her engagement to Long.
‘Doing like with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind,’ the songstress captioned a photo of herself and Long staring into each other’s eyes lovingly at the time. ‘I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.’
Another photo showed Long taking a knee as he popped the question on the balcony of an ornate theater lobby.
However, as of Thursday the post had been deleted from Jackson’s Instagram account.
