Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will face a ‘furious’ William, low favourability among the British public and an uncertain place in the royal pecking order when they start their new life in Britain within days, a royal expert has revealed.
The Duke and Duchess are moving back to the United Kingdom six years after they relocated to the US.

Royal insiders say that the Prince of Wales will be angry at their imminent move and could feel he is being forced towards a reconciliation with his brother.
Harry and Meghan in a shock move will make their home in a non-royal residence outside of London and have already enrolled Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in British schools.
What happened between Prince Harry and Prince William?
The move could end up creating an awkward situation with William and Kate, who were last seen together publicly with the Sussexes after Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022.
William is estranged from Harry, who has levelled a barrage of accusations against him, Kate, Charles and Camilla in the years since the couple departed Britain in 2020.

The Sussexes have also faced falling approval ratings in the UK ever since they left in acrimonious circumstances, amid a series of barbs directed towards the royal family.
A YouGov poll found last month that just 22 per cent of Britons see Meghan in a positive light, compared with 65 per cent who hold an unfavourable opinion of the former actress, with 33 per cent seeing Harry positively and 58 per cent negatively.
King Charles was taken totally by surprise about the announcement when he was told on Sunday (by his son, Prince Harry).
