U.S. President Donald Trump, 80, gave Natalie Harp, 35, and two other female White House aides $45,000 apiece as a holiday gift, financial disclosures reveal.Â
Harp, Chamberlain Harris, 26, and Margo Martin, 31, received $135,000 between them, each identifying Trump as the source of a ‘cash gift for the holidays,’ according to Politico.
The amount comprises just under one-third of each employee’s $150,000 salary, paid by taxpayers.
The money came on top of their $150,000 salaries paid by taxpayers, giving each woman a gift worth 30 percent of her annual government pay.
Harp is a former One America News host who joined Trump’s team in 2022 and now serves as his personal secretary, often never seen more than a few feet from the President.
She is known as the ‘human printer’ for accompanying Trump with a portable printer and supplying paper copies of news articles as well as social media posts throughout the day.
Trump and Harp’s bond became the center of national media attention in August when Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff told a rally that Trump would rather ‘build his ballroom and travel with Natalie’ than do his job.
Ossoff was referring to when Harp was among a tiny handful of aides Trump kept beside him as he slipped off Air Force One in Turkey and onto a decoy jet over an Iranian assassination threat.
Top cabinet officials, including Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent, were left behind on the larger plane while Harp stayed with the President.
Martin, who joined the Trump White House on the press side in 2019 and was his press secretary while he was out of office, is Trump’s communications adviser.
Harris, who was also part of Trump’s first term as ‘receptionist of the United States,’ is his executive assistant and sits on the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, which oversees construction of the White House ballroom.
