Prince Harry melted Royal
fans’ hearts on Saturday over his romantic gesture to wife Meghan Markle during
a Windsor walkabout with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Prince and Princess of
Wales, both aged 40, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, 37 and 41, were
dressed in all black as they walked along the gates of Windsor Castle to
inspect floral tributes after the Queen died aged 96 on the 8 of September.
The group, who Royal fans
celebrated reuniting in public for the first time since 2020, then approached
members of the public and spoke to them.
They spent more than 40
minutes speaking to members of the public, where they received flowers, gifts
and hugs from well-wishers.
The Prince and Princess of
Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left in the same vehicle after
finishing their walkabout outside Windsor Castle.
And it was during this moment
that Prince Harry melted Royal fans’ hearts for his displays of
“protectiveness” for his wife Meghan.
As William, Kate, Harry and
Meghan finished up their walkabout and gave one final wave to the crowds, the
Duke of Sussex sweetly opened the car door for Meghan and waited until she was
safely inside to close it.
Onlookers and Royal fans were
quick to flock to social media to praise Prince Harry for the romantic gesture.
One person wrote: “Say
what you will about Harry and Meghan but he puts his arm around her back and
opens her car door for her. He loves her. That gets a swoon from me.”
Another posted: “Harry
getting the car door for Meghan” with a crying emoji.
A third tweeted: “Did you
see Harry opening that car door for Meghan and seeing her safely in” with
a teary emoji.
Another account said:
“Harry opening the car door and making sure Meghan gets in safely”
with heart emojis.
While another person added:
“Prince Harry was such a gentleman… he opened the car door and made sure
Meghan was seated before he closed the door… caring, which he always
is.”
