Moscow concert hall shooting: Three Islamic State terrorists leave 62 DEAD in gun massacre

Tragedy and horrifying scenes in Russia capital last night! Around 150 people were left fighting for their lives on the outskirts of Moscow and 60 people are now confirmed dead when camouflage-clad gunmen opened fire on concertgoers at the Crocus City Hall last night. 

Details on The Attackers

Three men, believed to be the killers an Islamic State terrorists, have been identified by Russian authorities and at the moment, are large on the run. 

The pictured men were named as Amirkhan Gurazhev, born 1989, Adam Ozdoev, born 1987, and Zelimkhan, born in 2000.

ISIS Claims Responsibility

A statement released by the Islamic State group claimed responsibility but Russia did not immediately blame anyone. The United States also said it had intelligence confirming Islamic State’s claim of responsibility for the shooting.

The Horrifying Scene

Videos in circulation shows the attackers firing repeatedly at screaming civilians cowering in the concert.

The terrorists then threw a grenade or incendiary bomb causing fire to quickly spread through the concert hall in Moscow’s northern Krasnogorsk suburb. 

Per DailyMail, audience members had been at the venue to see Soviet-era rock group ‘Picnic’ about to perform at 8pm when the massacre began.

Bullets in the Air

But before the music started, the gunmen marched out into the auditorium and started opening fire. Scores of people hid behind seats in the hall or rushed towards entrances to the basement or roof to escape the bullets.

Record says last night’s bloody scene is one of the worst atrocities to happen in Russia in recent years.

A manhunt has since been launched this morning for the three men who were behind the terror attack which killed at least 60 people at a packed concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow. 

It brought back harrowing memories of the Islamic State assault on Paris’s Bataclan concert hall in 2015 when 89 people were shot dead.
