The Queen of Pop went on to blast the newly-reelected President over being found liable for sexual abuse in E. Jean Carroll’s $88.3M libel 2023 lawsuit as well as his 2024 conviction on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records – which he denies.

Madonna – who boasts 53.6M social media followers – captioned her selfie: ‘Trying to get my head around why a convicted felon, rapist, bigot was chosen to lead our country because he’s good for the economy?’
Trump was accused of rape by Carroll in 2023 but a New York jury rejected her claim, finding Trump responsible for a lesser degree of sexual abuse.

Madonna had been feeling hopeful for the first female president after voting for Kamala Harris in Manhattan on Tuesday alongside 23-year-old daughter Lourdes.Â
‘This one is for the ladies if [you’re] feeling blue,’ the twice-divorced mother-of-six wrote via Instastory.
‘Don’t give up hope!’

The day after the 78-year-old politician’s 2017 presidential inauguration, Madonna famously stated at the Women’s March in Washington, DC: ‘Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged.
‘Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House, but I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair.’
