Jennifer Lopez reportedly has a strictly platonic friendship with her hunky co-star Tonatiuh, despite romance rumors surrounding the pair, it is confirmed.
Well, one can say ‘more than friends’, but not yet a romantic item, according to an insider.
Tonatiuh, 30, and Jennifer, 55, acted together in the upcoming movie Kiss Of The Spider Woman, an adaptation of a hit Broadway musical that was itself based on a novel by the Argentine author Manuel Puig.
Speculation had been swirling about the true nature of the bond between Jennifer and Tonatiuh, following her divorce from Ben Affleck.
J-Lo sent the conjecture into overdrive by posting a photo of herself with Tonatiuh to social media this week, accompanied by a heart emoji.
Now, however, an insider has confirmed they are not dating, insisting: ‘There’s nothing going on here. They’re just friends,’ via Us Weekly.
Another source shed further light on her state of mind, saying: ‘She’s focused on work and is not dating. She’s happy as it is,’ per People.
