Bobrisky has stated that leaving Nigeria was the best decision he’s ever made for himself.
In a recent post shared on his Instagram on April 29, Bobrisky wrote, “The best decision I ever made for myself is leaving Nigeria.”

The Nigerian social media personality relocated abroad in November 2024, following a series of legal challenges. In April of the same year, he was sentenced to six months in prison for naira abuse.
While initially held at Kirikiri Prison, reports suggested he spent only three weeks behind bars before being quietly moved to an undisclosed private location.
The controversy escalated further in September, when social critic Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, released an audio recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky discussing bribing EFCC officials to drop money laundering charges. Bobrisky denied the claims, stating that the recording was AI-generated.
Despite an attempt to leave the country through Seme border being blocked by immigration officers, Bobrisky eventually managed to travel abroad in November.
