Michael Schumacher is officially a grandfather! On Saturday, his daughter, Gina-Maria, took to Instagram to share the joyful news that she had welcomed a beautiful baby girl.

Born on March 29th, our hearts are fuller than ever. We are beyond blessed to have you in our lives.”

Gina’s followers quickly flooded her with congratulations and well-wishes. “Congratulations! I’m so happy for you! You’ll be an amazing mummy!” one fan wrote, while another added, “Just wonderful! The biggest joy one can ever have.” A third shared, “Welcome to this beautiful and blessed baby girl.”

Gina’s daughter was born to her and her husband, Iain, whom she married in a private ceremony in 2024. The couple, who reportedly met at a riding school, tied the knot on September 28th at the Schumacher family home, Villa Yasmin, in Puerto De Andraitx, Mallorca.

Gina shared a picture from their intimate wedding, where she looked stunning in a delicate lace gown with spaghetti straps. Iain wore a navy pinstripe suit with a crisp white shirt. She captioned the photo with a sweet message: “Forever yes to you, yes to forever.”

Though it was believed that Michael Schumacher attended the wedding, the family took great care to keep the event private, even asking guests to hand over their phones.

Michael, 56, has remained out of the public eye since suffering a severe head injury in a 2013 skiing accident. After his recovery, the family has maintained strict privacy regarding his condition. Michael has not been seen publicly since the accident.

In the 2021 documentary Schumacher, Michael’s wife, Corinna, opened up about his recovery, saying, “Michael is here. Different, but he’s here, and that gives us strength. We’re together. We live together at home. We do therapy. We do everything we can to make Michael better and to make sure he’s comfortable.”

While Gina and her brother, Mick Schumacher, continue to support their father, they have not shared any photos of him publicly. The family remains dedicated to maintaining their privacy while cherishing their bond.
