Adam Ramsay-Peaty has set a new challenge for himself after his just concluded Commonwealth games.
The former Olympic champion, 31, who won three medals at this year’s games said in an interview how he hopes to find a balance between fatherhood, and preparations for the Los Angeles Olympics in two years time.
Last month Adam and Holly shared that they are set to welcome a baby girl in December, a year after they tied the knot.
Adam has previously hinted his family rift is weighing on him as he said he has been feeling ‘off this week and doesn’t know why’ after failing to secure gold earlier in the week.

Asked how he plans to juggle a lack of sleep from fatherhood with his training regime, Adam said: ‘Well thankfully I’ve got an incredible wife and an incredible support circle around me.’
Adam on Thursday added: ‘Yes I mean, when you have children they do take a lot of work in the sense of a lot of energy, you’re gonna miss a lot of sleep, but I think we’ve also got to look at the other side of things.

He continued, ‘What an incredible gift and an incredible blessing and I know these next two years we will get the formula, we may not find it instantly, and I don’t want to get lost in just being an athlete, I do want to get lost in being a father and being a husband and that is OK.
‘That we can’t be 110 per cent every single day. But what we can do is give our time, give our energy, give our love, and that will hopefully land us in a very good place.’
Adam finished his Commonwealth Games campaign by helping England win silver in the men’s 4×100 medley relay.
