Former Nollywood star turned U.S.-based nurse, Regina Askia-Williams, has shared a candid message she received from a fan encouraging her to get back into shape.
Taking to Instagram, the 56-year-old actress posted a screenshot of the message, in which the fan urged her to register at a gym, saying, “You really need it.” The message went on to suggest she should “re-enact” her previous figure and pleaded with her “in the name of God” to take action.
Rather than take offense, Regina responded with grace and humor. “Point taken,” she wrote, adding that she’s ready to return to the gym and take on the challenge.
Fans applauded her for handling the unsolicited advice with such poise. Known for her iconic roles in Nollywood classics, Regina has since transitioned into a successful healthcare career while remaining connected to her fans through social media.
