However, the latest episode of A Right Royal Podcast offers a more accurate account. HELLO!’s royal editor Emily Nash, joined by royal commentator Robert Jobson, set the record straight—revealing that the narrative of a private “victim summit” was misleading.
A Dinner Party, Not a Summit
“It wasn’t just the two couples,” Nash clarified. “They were part of a dinner party with around 20 guests.” The event did not take place at Harry and Meghan’s Montecito estate, as previously suggested.
Instead, the dinner was hosted by Tracy Robbins and her husband Brian Robbins, the CEO of Paramount and Nickelodeon. “We know David Beckham has ties to Paramount, so this makes sense in that context,” Nash added. “This wasn’t some emotional summit—it was a social gathering, and the story’s been spun out of proportion.”
Robert Jobson was more candid in his take: “It was a so-called victims summit. I thought it was a bit daft. It’s sending out mixed messages. And honestly, we don’t even know how close these couples really are.”
