Veteran actress Rita Edochie has voiced strong criticism over what she describes as the rising trend of indecent dressing at white weddings and other public events.
Sharing a video on Instagram showing a woman in revealing attire at Ruby Ojiakor’s wedding, she wrote:
“White weddings symbolize cleanliness, godliness, and purity — but the way people show up half-naked these days is shocking.”
In her caption, Rita expressed concern about the message such fashion choices send to younger generations. She questioned,
“What will your children think seeing this on social media? It’s better to walk out stark naked than to dress like this… Even mothers of four or five are showing too much!”
She called for a return to modesty and self-respect, urging everyone to reconsider their outfit choices as the new month begins. Rita also made it clear she has zero tolerance for indecent dressing and warned that people dressed inappropriately should avoid approaching her.
