Brooklyn Beckham could ‘publicly HUMILIATE’ estranged dad David at upcoming special day

Sir David Beckham’s long-awaited moment on Hollywood Boulevard is shaping up to be one of the proudest milestones of his post-football career — but behind the scenes.

The former England captain, 50, has been selected for the Hollywood Walk of Fame class of 2025 but there are quiet fears it could also expose unresolved family tensions with eldest son Brooklyn Beckham.

The honour follows the global success of his Netflix documentary and cements his crossover from sports icon to entertainer.

His star unveiling is expected to take place in the coming months, before the summer World Cup arrives in the United States.

Yet the celebration may come with an uncomfortable question hanging in the air: whether his eldest son, Brooklyn, will turn up.

Brooklyn lives less than five miles from the proposed ceremony site, sharing a Beverly Hills home with his wife, actress Nicola Peltz.

Despite the proximity, sources say there is concern that lingering strain in the Beckham family could lead to a conspicuous absence on one of Sir David’s most public days yet.

A source told The Sun: ‘Brooklyn snubbing David’s special day will be a very public humiliation as he lives in Hollywood.

‘Of course, David is hopeful the family will have mended their relations by then, especially after he has offered an olive branch to Brooklyn. The rift has been a great cause of heartache.’
