David Beckham welcomed the full England squad to Inter Miami’s training facilities as Thomas Tuchel’s side continue preparations for Saturday’s World Cup quarter-final clash with Norway.
England flew from their Kansas City base to Florida on Friday and immediately headed to Fort Lauderdale for their final training session.
The Three Lions take on their Scandinavian opponents in Miami (10pm, BST) with a place against either current champions Argentina or Switzerland awaiting in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
And ahead of the quarter-final showdown, England enjoyed a training session at Inter Miami’s base – with the MLS club co-owned by Beckham.
Beckham’s sons Romeo and Cruz were also in attendance, watching Thomas Tuchel’s side prepare for the last-eight encounter against Norway.
Former England captain Beckham, who won 115 caps for his country – with 58 of those as skipper, enjoyed a chat with England players in the gym before their training session and was seen chatting on the pitch with the England captain.
‘He just wished us luck,’ Kane revealed. ‘After most games he messages me and we stay in touch. He was there to support us.
He continued, ‘We were using the home that he’s built and we appreciated him hosting us. It was good to catch up with him. He’s an England legend. Hopefully we can do him proud tomorrow.’
When the session started, Beckham watched on from the sidelines alongside two of his sons Romeo and Cruz.
