Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were snubbed from Taylor Swift’s lavish wedding celebrations in New York City this week.
The Gossip Girl star, 38, and her husband, 49, were spotted three hundred miles away from the festivities at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, after Swift, 36, iced them out from her and Travis Kelce’s, 36, big day.
While celebrity guests were pictured arriving to the glamorous rehearsal dinner at MSG, Lively and her husband were seen supporting their daughter Betty, six, as she competed in a horse show at a farm in Lake Placid, New York, according to TMZ. Betty, 6, placed second in the competition.
An insider told Page Six last month that Lively — who was previously one of Swift’s closest friends — was not invited to the pop star’s nuptials after their fallout stemming from the actress’ long legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
‘There hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship,’ the insider said. ‘And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake.’
Swift reportedly ‘needs space’ from the actress after her name was dragged into the lawsuits between Lively and her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star and director, which ended in a surprise settlement in May.
Taylor Swift is entertaining a 100 close friends in what is supposed to be an intimate, first-night party at Madison Square Garden before a blowout for 1,000 guests today.
