Jimmy Kimmel is back on the air after a two-month break and immediately unleashed tirades U.S President Trump.
The comedian returned to the stage Tuesday night for the first time in three months, marking his return from summer hiatus and the 4,000th episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Sources told Page Six that his 24-year television run is set to end in 2027, but Kimmel remained silent on the reports, instead turning his 15-minute monologue into a blistering attack on the president.
Kimmel opened his 4,000th episode by joking that he and Trump shared one trait: ‘Donald Trump and I have one thing in common,’ he told the audience.
‘We both accomplished nothing all summer long.’
The late-night host spent the segment running through moments involving Trump and the White House, claiming that when he left for vacation in June, the ‘country was a mess.’
He rattled off the war with Iran, soaring gas prices, high inflation and Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, who ‘was either alive or dead, nobody seemed to have any idea which.’
Kimmel then mocked Trump’s botched $20 million Reflecting Pool makeover, branding the landmark a ‘big green slop hole’ while showing images of its murky green waters.
The 58-year-old pointed out that Trump posted 37 times on a single Sunday and trolled his online posts, including an idea to rename New Mexico to ‘New America’.
