Trump is happy Prince Harry and Meghan Markle return to the UK: ‘I wouldn’t have taken them back’

U.S. President Donald Trump is not a fan of the Sussexes as he stated he is happy that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make a surprise return to the UK.

Trump made his feelings clear during recent interviews and appearances, stating he is glad to see the couple leave the United States.

‘I’m happy about it. I am not a fan,’ noting that he had a ‘very good relationship with the Queen and with [King] Charles’.

‘I thought they treated the Royal Family with great disrespect. I didn’t like it,’ Trump told reporters of Harry and Meghan. ‘I didn’t like the way she acted.

‘I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen, to King Charles,’ Trump said of Meghan’s behavior and the couple’s decision to step back from their royal duties six years earlier.

‘I don’t know, maybe I’m different. I wouldn’t have taken them back,’ Trump said, before adding: ‘If I were the Royal Family, I would not have taken them back.’

Despite legal scrutiny regarding Prince Harry’s U.S. visa and past drug disclosures, Trump dismissed the idea of deporting him, remarking that Harry :has enough problems with his wife’ and calling Meghan ‘terrible’.

Harry and Meghan told King Charles last month that they would be moving back to Britain with their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, who are slated to begin school there in the fall.

The couple are now staying in the UK for an ‘extended period’ after flying into the country on August 26.
