Meghan Markle, 41, has earned a surprise Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category for her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
This comes eight years after she refused an invite to the glitzy awards ceremony to draw a line in the sand between Hollywood and working as a senior royal.
The show being axed by the streaming giant in early 2026 after two seasons, will now compete against George to the Rescue and The Motherhood this October.
The Duchess of Sussex launched the first series of With Love, Meghan on the streaming platform in March 2025, alongside unveiling her lifestyle brand As Ever.
A second series and Christmas special followed, with the mother-of-two offering hosting tips and cooking lessons from inside a rented £5million mansion near her and Prince Harry’s Montecito home.
However, the show was largely panned by critics and viewers alike after it failed to break into the streamer’s top 1,000 most-watched programmes, according to viewing figures released by Netflix.
The Duchess celebrated on Instagram to thank her production crew.
Meghan’s Emmy nomination comes nearly eight years after the Duchess declined an invitation to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles, California, shortly after marrying into the Royal Family.
The former Suits actress’s decision was a ‘line in the sand’ between her acting career and new life as a royal at the time, sources claimed, but the Duchess is rumoured to be eyeing a Hollywood comeback after Megxit in 2020.
