Britney Spears has sparked intense online pregnancy and adoption rumor seemed in an Instagram shared with her 41 million followers this week.
The 44-year-old pop star shared an image of a onesie and knit baby bloomers, writing, ‘If you’re lucky I have someone unbelievably beautiful I want to introduce you to… hopefully this year.’
Without providing any additional context, she added, ‘And if not the most beautiful things will never be seen!!!!!’
The cryptic note continued: ‘Come what may… oh so near but the feet I feel lived too much in fear so the soil of ground that silence suspends is where I’m found yet there begin!!!! It’s in the silence!!!!!!’
Her slideshow kicked off with a photo showcasing several baby items, including a knit hat, knit bloomers, a mini unicorn backpack, and a onesie reading ‘Phoenix has arrived’.
Also included in the carousel post was a throwback photo of her holding one of her two sons – Sean, 20, or Jayden, 19 – as a young kid.
Elsewhere in the slideshow, she included a present-day image of Jayden and a young brunette woman. It’s possible Spears could be hinting that she is set to become a grandmother.
The post also had an artistic image depicting a woman opening a shell to reveal a sleeping infant.
And there was a video of someone spotting Spears as she performed a backflip inside her home.
