Two missing teenagers including a 16-year-old girl who vanished nearly a month ago have both been found after featuring on the Channel 5 TV programme Vanished.
Missing, but now found
Grace Fisher, 16, of Gillingham, Kent, went missing on October 13, but detectives have now confirmed she has been found safe and well in Camden, North London.
How they disappeared
Daniel Wawrzynczak, 15, who vanished from his home in Chadshunt, Warwickshire, on October 23 went to a London police station after seeing an appeal on the show.
Dan Walker, who presents Vanished: The Search for Britain’s Missing, said he was ‘relieved’ that both teenagers had been found and described it as ‘amazing news’.
Some arrests were made
Two men were arrested as part of the search for Grace, one of whom is believed to have been with her near Chatham bus station on the day she was reported missing.
They were then allegedly seen on CCTV walking together, with Grace wearing a grey jumper with a black ‘New York’ emblem, black leggings and white Nike trainers.
Kent Police confirmed on Friday that both arrested men had been bailed until early next year.
Residents and businesses with CCTV near the bus station, and motorists with dashcam footage, had also been asked to check if they had caught her on film.
Police had also said that Grace used the names Rosie or Harmony – and had links to Medway, Maidstone and also Camden, where she was eventually found.
As for Daniel, he went missing from his home in Warwickshire while wearing a black tracksuit, a navy North Face hoodie, and a black Nike jacket with grey writing down both arms and grey edging on the hood. He also had a black rucksack and black walking boots.
