Omid Scobie Spotted In LA After Endgame Fallout

OMID Scobie has been spotted in LA following the release of his bombshell Endgame book which caused a royal racism storm.

The royal author, who has been dubbed by some as the Sussexes’ ‘mouthpiece’, has kept a low profile since the fallout of his book, which came out in November.

Omid, from east London, was dressed in an all-black ensemble, including a black Celine baseball cap just before the new year.

In one shot, he donned sunglasses as he carried two mobile phones and was seen texting on one as he walked down the street.

His explosive book detailed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relocation to California after stepping down as senior royals.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, the Sussexes alleged an unnamed member of the Royal Family spoke about their son’s skin colour – a story which appears to have changed a number of times.

Instead, they have focused on “unconscious bias” in the Royal Family.

Omid has since refused to apologise over his book and has repeatedly tried to defend himself in interviews, insisting he never named the royals in his writing.

Meghan and Harry are yet to speak out about the book or denounce its contents – although royal author Tom Bower said he has “no doubt” that Meghan “fed” Omid Scobie the ‘royal racist’ names.

Endgame wasn’t well received by critics, and one chapter was described by the New York Times as reading “like a press release cooked up by ChatGPT.”

Nielsen statistics suggested Omid sold just 6,448 copies in the UK during its first five days.

Omid’s first book, Finding Freedom, sold 31,000 in its first five days, while Prince Harry’s Spare sold 467,183

Royal fans have questioned if Meghan will do her own memoir, after the success of her husband’s biography.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be hoping for a fresh start this year, after backlash last year following their Netflix documentary and Spare.

Despite this, royal expert Phil Dampier told Fabulous that “redemption” is unlikely for the Sussexes.
