Do You Agree??? New Study Finds Women Prefer Bald Men Over Those With Full Heads Of Hair

Contrary to common fears about hair loss, a new study has found that bald men may actually have the upper hand in the dating game.

In a survey of 2,000 women conducted by Illicit Encounters, researchers found that bald heads ranked as the second most attractive feature in men—coming just behind a muscular physique.

Jessica Leoni, a spokesperson for the dating site, noted, “Attractiveness is truly in the eye of the beholder. Bald men are among the sexiest looking chaps out there.”

While hair loss is often seen as a source of anxiety for men, the study suggests it may carry unexpected appeal.

Baldness has been linked in previous research to traits like confidence, intelligence, maturity, and honesty—qualities that many women find highly desirable. Additionally, baldness is often interpreted as a sign of non-threatening dominance and social maturity.

Here’s how the top features ranked:

  • Muscular physique – 42%
  • Bald head – 40%
  • Blue eyes – 38%
  • Beard – 36%
  • Dark hair – 31%
  • Curly hair – 30%
  • High cheekbones – 26%
  • Blonde hair – 22%
  • Green eyes – 21%
  • Hairy chest – 18%
  • Tattoos – 10%
  • Piercings – 7%

The results suggest that men experiencing hair loss may want to ditch the costly treatments and embrace the bald look instead.

Tom Simons, 45, from Kent, shared his own experience: “I started losing my hair in my mid-30s and was horrified at first. I wore hats constantly and even considered a wig. But a female friend told me to ‘be bald and proud,’ and I haven’t looked back since. Honestly, I get approached more now than I ever did with hair.”

For many, it seems, bald is not just beautiful—it’s bold, confident, and attractive.
