Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has been selected to represent Portugal’s Under-15 national team for the first time.

The 14-year-old, eldest son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, will join the squad for the seventh edition of the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament in Croatia, taking place from May 13 to May 18.

Currently captaining the youth team at Al-Nassr, Cristianinho— as he’s affectionately known—has previously played in the youth academies of Juventus and Manchester United, mirroring his father’s football journey.

He is one of 22 players chosen by Portugal U15 head coach João Santos for the tournament. Portugal is set to face England on May 16, followed by matches against Japan and Greece.

The tournament honors Vlatko Markovic, a former Croatian footballer and federation president, and serves as a platform to showcase emerging young talent on the international stage.
