Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez sustained a facial injury while rehearsing for her upcoming performance at the American Music Awards.
The 55-year-old star was struck in the face during a rehearsal session, resulting in visible bruising and a cut that required medical attention.
Lopez shared a candid photo on Instagram Stories, showing herself holding an ice pack to her swollen nose and eye, captioned simply: “So this happened.”
The injury was significant enough to call in renowned celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond, who treated the wound and administered stitches.
Despite the setback, Lopez is reportedly in good spirits and recovering well. Sources confirm she still plans to perform at the AMAs as scheduled.
