The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has addressed a viral video showing former militant leader Tompolo being lavishly sprayed with cash at a public event.

The footage, which circulated widely over the weekend, sparked online reactions with many Nigerians challenging the EFCC to act, questioning whether the anti-graft agency would confront the ex-militant.

In response, the EFCC issued a statement via social media on Monday morning, asserting: “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer.”

The agency’s reaction suggests possible further scrutiny of the incident as public pressure mounts.
